Boris Nadezhdin, who was nominated as a presidential candidate by the Civil Initiative party, asked the Central Election Commission to postpone the date of consideration of his registration from February 7 to February 10. He added that this will make it possible to better study the claims of the Central Election Commission to the signatures collected in its support.

“It is absolutely impossible to view all the comments of the Central Election Commission for today and even the night before the morning of February 7,” says Boris Nadezhdin in a statement, which he published on Telegram channel.

He added that over the previous day, his representatives managed to correlate approximately 3 thousand lines of the 60 thousand list with signature sheets. The appeal was addressed to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.

The day before, February 5, the authorized representative of Mr. Nadezhdin Igor Artemyev reportedthat the Central Election Commission rejected 15.3% of signatures in support of the nomination of a presidential candidate. The final decision on the registration of Boris Nadezhdin is due to be announced by the Central Election Commission on February 7. February 10 is the deadline for the EC to decide on the registration of candidates.
