The Federation Council Committee supported the law on confiscation of property for fakes about the army

The Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building supported the bill on confiscation of property, as well as the deprivation of honorary titles for crimes against security. The committee recommended that the Federation Council approve the draft law, TASS reports.
Bill contributed to the State Duma on January 22, the authors of the initiative were 395 deputies. Confiscation of property is provided for the dissemination of knowingly false information about the armed forces, calls for sanctions or extremist activities. It is assumed that only those assets that were used in the commission of a crime will be confiscated. The project passed the first reading in the State Duma January 24second and third – January 31.
