The Ukrainian army lost more than 150 soldiers, as well as the HIMARS MLRS, after attacks by the South group of Russian troops. The head of the group’s press center, Vadim Astafiev, told TASS about this.
According to him, units of the Southern Group, supported by artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled three attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces attack aircraft. As a result, enemy equipment and manpower were hit in the vicinity of the villages of Kleshcheevka, Kurdyumovka and Krasnoe. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 150 soldiers and officers, HIMARS MLRS, as well as a mortar and howitzer.
Astafiev also added that military personnel of the “South” group, using countermeasures, destroyed 14 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones and 8 HIMARS MLRS shells near the settlements of Spornoe and Veseloye.
