Palestinian President asks Arab countries to convene emergency summit

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip reported an increase in the number of victims of Israeli shelling per day by three hundred people. Now the death toll since the situation worsened includes more than eight thousand people, and 19 thousand people were injured.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also added that the Israeli army responded to the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a resolution calling for an immediate truce with a new phase of war. Chief of the General Staff Herzi Halevi said that the Israeli Army has launched a ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
