The governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, instructed the heads of municipalities located in the flood zone on the Ishim River to begin urgent evacuation. He noted that the weather forecast is unfavorable and the rise in water in the river is expected to be even higher than predicted in early April.

According to TASS, over 9 thousand residential buildings may be flooded due to a critical rise in water levels in the Ishim and Tobol rivers.
