The Tula national team held a gala match against the “Legends of Hockey”

On February 19, a gala match was held at the Sports Palace between the Tula region team and the “Legends of Hockey”, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Mikhailov Academy. Governor Alexey Dyumin congratulated AKM on this date.

“More than 1,000 children study here. Today the Tula region is represented by three professional teams that are known and respected by their rivals, as well as hockey fans throughout the country.”“, the governor noted.

The head of the region also met with the team and coaches, congratulating them on reaching the playoffs. In turn, the players gave Alexey Dyumin a bomber jacket with their symbols.

“This season of the regular championship of the Major Hockey League, AKM played many bright and exciting matches. It’s a tough battle ahead of the playoffs.”– added Alexey Dyumin, thanking the club management and coaching staff for the results achieved.

Today there are nine ice rinks operating in the region. Seven of them were built in the last few years. There are 55 amateur teams and seven children’s hockey schools; the Tula region is represented in the Youth and Major Hockey Leagues.

Now more than 1,000 children of different ages are involved in the children’s and youth sports school. An effective system has been created that allows for the formation of a reserve of hockey players capable of defending the honor of the Tula region and the entire country at the most prestigious competitions.
