The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation at the commission renewed the accreditation of the Russian MMA Union, reports the press service of the Tula Regional Federation of SBU MMA.

“This situation drew our attention to some issues that we were confident that we had fully addressed,” said Andrey Terentyev, acting president of the Russian MMA Union.

On June 15, the current accreditation of the Russian MMA Union was suspended for three months. The reason was a tragedy in the Amur region, when a 16-year-old participant died from a blow to the head during a competition.

The Tula MMA team, consisting of four athletes and two coaches, is preparing to go to the Russian Cup in Omsk. In the new conditions, Tula athletes will not only receive competitive experience, but also titles.
