On Saturday, January 27, the Tula hockey players of the Mikhailov Academy won against the Sakhalin Sharks. The game ended with a score of 3:1. It is equally important that Vadim Sepik returned to the “gunsmiths” for the first time after an injury.

From the first minutes, “Mikhailov Academy” actively led the match, and during the second period they were able to “catch” the advantage. After another nine minutes, the Tula team scored the second goal and the third – almost at the end.

Head coach of the Mikhailov Academy Irek Galyaviev noted that the mistakes made will be worked out during training.

“I don’t want to guess, if we realize the majority, it means that we are moving in the right direction,” the coach emphasized.

He believes that hockey players should set themselves up for successful games, since they are already in professional sports.

At the same time, Galyaviev called the “Sharks” from Sakhalin an interesting opponent.

The next match of the Mikhailov Academy will take place in Tula on Monday, January 29. The start is scheduled for 19:00.
