The trucker said that the shortage of drivers in the Russian Federation is associated with low wages
The shortage of truckers in the Russian Federation is associated with working conditions and low pay. This assumption was made by the driver Maxim Shtogrin in an interview with Lenta.ru.
“There is a shortage in Russia due to the fact that many employers, large firms and others, deceive drivers: they throw money at them, they force them to work without observing the regime of work and rest,” the trucker said.
He noted that many people leave to work in Europe, since in Russia truckers receive from 50 to 80 thousand rubles, while there the salary is three to four times higher, and the load is less.
The interlocutor also noted that Russian parking lots are poorly equipped for truckers to rest.
Prior to this, Vadim Filatov, deputy director of the transport and logistics company PEK, announced a shortage of truck drivers in Russia. According to the IEC, domestic transport organizations need about 60,000 more drivers.
