The trial of Satanists will be held twice a week: they are suspected of cannibalism

On December 19, the Moscow Regional Court continued to consider the case of Satanists, who, according to investigators, were responsible for at least two ritual murders. Starting next year, the court will meet twice a week.

Let us remind you that we are talking about murders committed in 2016 by former spouses Alexander Perevozchikov-Khmury and Tatyana Deryugina, as well as Andrei Tregubenko. The latter’s criminal record is the most extensive, and so far he is the only one who has admitted guilt in the crimes charged against him.

He allegedly committed the first murder together with Olga Bolshakova; at the moment, she has already been convicted and is serving her sentence. The young people, according to investigators, lured a 26-year-old Muscovite into the forest and killed. They also stole her mobile phone and about 10 thousand rubles. It is possible that there was more money: according to the mother of the murdered girl, shortly before her disappearance she took out a loan for unknown purposes, almost 100 thousand rubles.

The next crime was committed by four Satanists; the victim was a 27-year-old St. Petersburg resident. This murder was also accompanied by theft. And some time later, Tregubenko committed a third murder, this time he did not pursue ritual goals, he killed out of personal hostility.

It was the Tregubenko-Bolshakov duo who were the first to fall into the hands of law enforcement agencies when the couple tried to sell a large batch of drugs. Through them, the investigation also came to the Perevozchikov-Khmurykh couple. The investigation also suspects the latter of cannibalism: according to Bolshakova, they cut off pieces of flesh from the victim’s body and ate them. However, the accused themselves categorically reject this accusation, as well as the fact of misappropriation of the murdered person’s funds.

Before the hearing, the defendants spoke with their lawyers. The carriers showed good spirits. Deryugina, a fragile girl in a pink blouse, seemed calm. When looking at her, it is difficult to imagine that she is being judged for such terrible things. Tregubenko listened intently to his defender. His partner, on whose testimony the accusation is largely based, was supposed to speak at the videoconference meeting. However, for technical reasons this did not happen. During the hearing, the judge explained that Bolshakova, who was taken to IK-5 near Moscow a few days ago, is now in quarantine.

This time, all three defendants were placed in one cell (last time Tregubenko was kept separately). As at the last meeting, Tregubenko was dressed all in black, but this time without a mask, which last time almost completely covered his face.

The mother of the murdered girl was present at the meeting; this time she refrained from speaking.

At the request of the prosecution, several documents were added to the case, these are an inspection of the murder site of Tregubenko’s last victim, a protocol for the exhumation of the remains of a St. Petersburg man killed by Satanists, and expert reports that helped establish the identity of the young man buried five years before the exhumation. In addition, the prosecution presented several reports on the searches carried out and the objects of the satanic cult and drugs discovered.

The court decided to meet again on Friday, January 12, and then meet regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays.
