The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case against blogger Stanislav Bazarov (known as “Stasik Kudryavy”) under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – insulting the feelings of believers (part 1 of article 148) and distribution of pornography (part 3 of article 242). The reason was the publication of a video in which Bazarov urinated on an Orthodox icon in an apartment in Zelenograd. deed was committed in order to offend the feelings of believers, and was filmed on a video that the blogger published in an open Telegram channel.
Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to the head of the Moscow Central Directorate of the TFR of Russia, said that a religious examination would be carried out during the investigation. Ivanova also confirmed that Bazarov had been detained and was under investigation.
Earlier, information appeared that law enforcement officers removed the 20-year-old blogger from the plane, which was leaving for Turkey.
This is not the first time that Bazarov has become the object of law enforcement interest. In January, he was arrested for 14 days for helping to sit on a train seat. In the same month, the blogger was checked for LGBT propaganda (Article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for a video in which he dressed in women’s clothes, the Telegram channel Caution News reported.
