The traffic jam near the Crimean bridge from the side of Taman has increased to almost a thousand cars, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the operational Telegram channel covering the situation on the auto approaches to the bridge.
On Saturday evening, there were 380 cars in line, and the waiting time was up to one hour. At the same time, there are no difficulties with crossing the bridge from the side of Kerch.
Currently, cars and tourist buses can pass along the Crimean bridge. As for trucks, there are ferry crossings for it, there is also a route through the Kherson, Zaporozhye regions and the DPR.
In June, a deputy of the State Duma from Crimea, Major General Leonid Ivlev, in reserve, took the initiative to increase the number of additional checkpoints on the Crimean bridge. Ivlev also proposed to increase the number of inspectors for this period in order to avoid a recurrence of the situation with traffic jams in the future. According to the deputy, he plans to send the corresponding document to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
