The trade union announced that 37 Moscow metro drivers were on sick leave due to overwork

In the Moscow metro, 37 drivers of the Sokol depot went on sick leave, informed enterprise trade union. The reason for such actions is called frequent overtime and low wages. In total, approximately 5.5 thousand machinists work in the subway.

“The machinists en masse went on sick leave. The organism of workers has ceased to withstand frequent processing. The workers complained about low wages and that the authorities were violating the conditions of rest, ”the trade union said in a public message on VKontakte.

The message tells about the recent death of the 28-year-old head of PCh-11 (his name is not given): “The man worked for the third day in a row – he literally fell asleep on the go and fell on the rails. Fatal outcome.”

In the comments under the trade union message, the user wrotewho worked as a machinist, and for 7 years in most cases took sick leave “just to rest”, because he had “4-5 days off a month”.

No information was received from official representatives of the Moscow metro in connection with the message of the trade union.
