The TEFI-KIDS award will be awarded for the fifth time

The award ceremony of the Russian National Television Award “TEFI-KIDS” 2023 will take place this coming Monday, October 23, at the Moscow “Et Cetera” Theater.
The organizer will traditionally be the Academy of Russian Television Foundation, and the general partner will be SBER.
The award was established in 2019 with the aim of developing aesthetic taste and creative potential, encouraging the most significant projects and professionals creating children’s content. Today it is actively developing, for example, in one of the nominations, a neural network will draw the contestants using artificial intelligence technologies, and a virtual assistant will name the winner, and also gather around itself eminent industry representatives who are in love with their business. The ceremony will be hosted by Nonna Grishaeva and Alexander Oleshko, who was also a member of the honorary jury. Oksana Fedorova, Yulia Baranovskaya, Tatyana Chernyaeva, Bella Cherkesova, Vadim Takmenev, Tatyana Tsyvareva, Lev Makarov, Tatyana Kiseleva and Yuri Bashmet will have to choose the best of the best.
In total, 203 works from 21 cities of the Russian Federation were submitted to the competition this year: from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Ufa and Cheboksary. Over the five years the award has been held, this is a record number of participants.
The winners will be announced in 11 categories, including: “Best TV channel for children”, “Best program for children”, “Best full-length film for children and family viewing”, “Host of a program for children”, etc.
“Today the project has become a landmark event in the world of television art, which shapes modern trends in the development of children’s, youth, family cinema and television, improves the professional level of representatives of children’s television channels and promotes the exchange of experience between specialists,” notes President of the TEFI-KIDS Award, Vice -President of the Academy of Russian Television Alexander Mitroshenkov.
