The team from Yakutia will take part in the Russian Judo Championship

The judo team from Yakutia plans to participate in the Russian championship among athletes under 18 years of age. The competition will take place in the city of Barnaul on November 9-12.
According to the results of the Far Eastern stage, six Yakut residents received the right to compete at the national championship, including Evgenia Chesenbieva in the 48 kg weight category, Leila Neupokoeva in the 52 kg weight category, Alisa Anisimova in the 57 kg weight category, Evgenina Shamarina in the 44 kg weight category, Diana Vikhareva in the 48 kg weight category, as well as Artyom Sukach in the 81 kg weight category.
The head coach of the Yakutia national team, Damdindorzh Gombodorzh, noted that a petition had been submitted for additional admission from the Far Eastern Federal District for two more athletes who received bronze medals – Anastasia Popova in the 48 kg weight category and Sergey Efros in the 55 kg weight category. This Sunday the athletes fly to Yekaterinburg for training events.
