The team from Chita took 8 medals at the Baikal cycling marathon

Eight medals were won by the Chita Go Ride team at the XVI Baikal cycling marathon, the route of which ran from Ulan-Ude to Ust-Barguzin. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the region.
Cyclists of different ages covered distances from 40 to 260 km along the eastern shore of Lake Baikal. Transbaikalians had to compete with strong rivals from the Irkutsk region and Buryatia.
Alina Polskikh won the 40-kilometer race.
In the 100 km race, Vasily Zubov, Sergey Polskikh and Evgeny Dodonov were the best, while Vyacheslav Anisimov and Alexei Ionov took bronze.
“Gold” for overcoming 200 km was received by Sergey Polorotov, and the third place at a distance of 260 km – Alexei Borisov.
Recallearlier Trans-Baikal archers won four silver and five bronze medals of the All-Russian Championship in Aginsky.
