The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation supported the bill introducing criminal liability for trash streamers. The author of the initiative, deputy Artem Metelev, announced this in his personal Telegram channel.
It is known that the current legislation does not offer any measures of influence on distributors of dangerous content. Now it is proposed to punish trash streamers for distributing videos of a crime being committed under the Criminal Code and the Administrative Code.
The Supreme Court’s response to the bill states that there are no conceptual objections to the bill.
