There is a strong cyclone in Kamchatka, which has led to planes not landing at Yelizovo airport and to the cancellation of classes in schools. Amur Mash publishes footage of the disaster.
The region was plunged into a storm: intense snowfall, gale force winds and a strong blizzard. In some places visibility is zero. The hurricane tears down stops and iron containers, demolishes steles and billboards. Its maximum speed reaches 34 meters per second.
It is especially dangerous on the roads: massive accidents occur, traffic inspectors recommend following European protocols. The situation at the airfield is also tense: the planes cannot land and have been sent to Magadan. Other flights have been postponed until tomorrow.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges residents not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.
