The zonal stage of the Russian Volleyball Championship among boys under 15 years old (Southern Federal District and North Caucasus Federal District Zone) took place in Budennovsk. The head of the Mineralovodsky district, Vyacheslav Sergienko, spoke about this in his Telegram channel.
The team of the Stavropol Territory, captained by Mineral Vody athlete Nikolai Zaitsev, won first place and a ticket to the finals of the Russian Championship.
“Congratulations on an excellent result and I wish you a successful performance in the final, which will take place from May 3 to 14 in Vologda,” wrote Vyacheslav Sergienko.
It was previously reported that Stavropol residents became winners of the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competitions.
