Athlete of the Adi-Akhmad club Islam Evloev became the winner of the Kazakhstan Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling among juniors under 21, reports the Ingushetia Wrestling Federation.
The athlete performed in the weight category up to 82 kg.
On the way to the “gold”, the Ingush wrestler won all the bouts ahead of schedule. Thus, he became the best in his weight and secured the right to participate in the U20 World Championship. It will take place from September 2 to 8 in the Spanish city of Pontevedra.
It was previously reported that an athlete from Ingushetia took silver at the Russian Taekwondo Championship.
