The Ministry of Finance proposes to extend state support for large families who bought apartments with a mortgage. Designed bill must be submitted to the State Duma by the Russian Government.
The bill proposes amendments to the law on state support for families with children, adopted in June 2019. We are talking about the payment of 450 thousand rubles for full or partial repayment of mortgage housing loans. The state pays money to cover the debt at the birth of the third or subsequent children.
In the current version of the law, the right to state support is granted to Russian citizens, mothers or fathers whose children were born from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2023. The bill proposes to extend it until December 31, 2030. The explanatory note states that this decision was made taking into account the high social significance of this measure of state support.
