The maximum fine for a citizen for not appearing at the military enlistment office at the time and place specified in the agenda without a good reason can be reduced to 30 thousand rubles, follows from published in base amendments given by the State Duma to the second reading of the bill. Previously, it was proposed to establish a fine in the amount of 40 thousand to 50 thousand rubles.
Currently, in accordance with Article 21.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Russia, a fine of 500 to 3 thousand rubles is provided for failure to appear at the military registration and enlistment offices on the agenda without a good reason.
July 20 State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation approved amendments, in particular, on an increase in fines for failure to appear at the military registration and enlistment office on the agenda from 3 thousand to 40-50 thousand rubles, for evading a medical examination – from 3 thousand to 15-25 thousand rubles. The amendments also propose to introduce a fine of 10-20 thousand rubles. for failure to notify the military commissariat of a change in marital status, education, change of place of work, study, position or place of residence. Currently, there are no such penalties.
