State Duma deputy from the Liberal Democratic Party Vasily Vlasov proposed to rename one of the streets of St. Petersburg in honor of the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin. He posted the corresponding post in his personal Telegram channel.
According to Vlasov, Prigozhin was a “real hero”, and his contribution to various spheres of the Russian Federation left an indelible mark.
“That is why I believe that renaming a street in St. Petersburg in his honor will be a proper recognition of his work and merits,” the deputy wrote.
Vlasov clarified that he had already sent a letter with a request to rename Zolnaya Street in St. Petersburg in honor of the head of Wagner PMC.
