Khusnullin announced the construction of a road ring around the Sea of Azov

Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin spoke about a five-year plan for the development of a 1.4 thousand km long road ring around the Sea of Azov. It passes through the cities of old and new territories, runs along the Crimean coast and closes in the Rostov region.
“I think that within five years this ring will already be formed,” said TASS Mr. Khusnullin at the site of the Moscow Urban Forum. As part of the development program, existing roads will be widened and accesses directly to the sea will be made.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, first of all, the expansion is required for a two-lane road along the Sea of Azov in new territories. “Today it is in a two-lane version, and it is very tense, given the situation on the Crimean bridge, the entire cargo flow comes from there,” Marat Khusnullin explained. The M-4 Don road with the Aksai bypass, as well as the Krasnodar bypass as part of the creation of a full-fledged highway – the entrance to the Kerch bridge is planned to be completed in 2023, said it is in March of this year.
Of the 1.4 thousand km of the ring road around the Sea of Azov, 800 km are four-lane. Restoration of roads in new regions is included in the program of their socio-economic development. The ring road is being built on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, formerly Mr. Khusnullin counted completely take the Sea of Azov into the automobile ring in 2024. The road ring passes through Azov, Yeysk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Temryuk, Kerch, Dzhankoy, Genichesk, Melitopol, Berdyansk, Mariupol, Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don.
