Deputy Lantratova proposed to oblige children’s animators to undergo a medical examination and special training
The first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, proposed introducing new requirements for candidates applying for jobs as children’s quest animators.
She believes that they should be required to undergo special training for working with children, as well as a medical examination with a visit to a psychiatrist. This will increase the security of quests common in Russia, the deputy noted.
“It is especially important to identify people with mental disorders, a tendency to sadism,” said Lantratova.
Also, in her opinion, special requirements should be developed for the props of quest rooms. It is necessary to “refuse items that can harm the health of the participants in the event.”
According to Lantratova, “a significant part of the injuries were received precisely as a result of the use of axes and knives” at such kegs. She suggested “to ban the use of such props” in general, since “even blunt objects turn out to be traumatic.”
In addition, it is necessary to “introduce a single document for informing citizens about safety rules”, which will confirm that the participants in the quest passed a special briefing before the start of the game.
