The State Duma of the Russian Federation proposed to establish regular payments to residents of the Belgorod region. We are talking about those who were forced to leave their homes due to the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chairman of the Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Affairs of Veterans of the Russian Parliament Yaroslav Nilov said in a commentary to the radio station “Moscow Speaks”that evacuated citizens need not only regular financial support, but also psychological support. According to the parliamentarian, the possibility of assistance to the residents of the Belgorod region at the federal level should be considered.

“People are in a very difficult situation,” he said. “They can’t live in their houses, someone’s houses have been destroyed.” Accordingly, according to deputy Nilov, payments should be regular, taking into account the fact that one of them has lost the opportunity to work.

“Credit holidays are also an additional support measure, I support it,” he said, adding that this regional measure should be expanded. “We need to look at the possibilities at the federal level,” Nilov said.

Earlier, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced payments to those who left the border areas in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. According to the head of the region, 19 thousand people have already received them. He also said that the victims will be provided with credit holidays.

The shelling of the Belgorod region has become more frequent recently. Most often, the Shebekinsky district is exposed to blows. Against the backdrop of shelling, the regional authorities announced a voluntary evacuation.
