Vice Speaker of the State Duma Davankov made a proposal to recognize families with two children as large families
Vladislav Davankov, Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the New People faction, proposed equating families with two children with large families. The deputy has already sent a corresponding appeal to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.
In his appeal, the parliamentarian asked Golikova to support granting the status of large families to all families with two or more minor children in federal law.
Davankov specified that in Russia there is not a very high number of families with three or more children. The deputy claims that many families with two children decide not to increase their number, because they cannot financially provide for all children in sufficient volume.
