The first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, has prepared an amendment to the second reading of the bill on LGBT propaganda, which prohibits the distribution of computer games that promote pornography, cruelty and violence and contain profanity. “Video and computer games distributed on any type of media … must not contain information expressed in an indecent form that offends human dignity and public morality, obvious disrespect for society, the state, official state symbols,” the text of the amendment says. .
For violation, citizens may face a fine of up to 400 thousand rubles, legal entities – up to 5 million rubles. It is proposed to introduce a new article with clarifications into the law on information.
At the end of October, bills on a complete ban on LGBT propaganda were submitted to the State Duma. On October 27, the amendments were unanimously approved in the first reading. If the bill is passed, LGBT propaganda will be prohibited not only among minors, but among all categories of citizens.
