Deputy Ostanina proposed canceling the Unified State Exam and the Unified State Exam for children from flooded districts

The head of the State Duma Committee for Family Protection, Nina Ostanina, sent an appeal to the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, to cancel the General Exam and the Unified State Exam for students from flooded districts.

It is noted that the document was sent to approve the list of schools whose students could take state exams as students from new Russian regions.

“Based on the above, I consider it advisable to cancel the GIA test in grades 9 and 11 for children from flooded districts, especially for children from Orsk,” the appeal says.

Ostanina also believes that ninth-grade students from flooded areas should receive certificates based on the results of an intermediate certification, and 11th-grade students should receive certificates based on the results of an intermediate certification or Unified State Exam.
