“Currently, work is underway to update and amend the Strategy of the State National Policy of the Russian Federation, taking into account new challenges to interethnic harmony in the Russian Federation that have arisen in connection with Russia’s conduct of a special military operation to protect Donbass, as well as overcoming the socio-economic consequences of sanctions pressure,” – it says in the technical task.
The purpose of the study is to develop recommendations for improving the legislative regulation of priority areas of state policy aimed at maintaining civil unity and interethnic harmony. Among the tasks are the analysis of the legislative regulation of the national policy, the study of the needs of society and the state in the use of additional measures for the implementation of the national policy, as well as the development of recommendations for improving legislation in this area.
