Head of Commission Arshba: The State Duma is developing a procedure for publishing declarations of parliamentarians
Otari Arshba, head of the Russian State Duma commission on control over the reliability of information about incomes and property of deputies, said that the parliament is developing a procedure for publishing declarations.
The order has not yet been determined, Arshba noted. The head of the commission said that as soon as the lower house decides on this issue, “then everything will happen.”
In February, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the publication of declarations of deputies of the State Duma and senators of the Federation Council in an anonymized (generalized) form, that is, without personal data, from March 1, 2023.
A month later, on April 1, Arshba said that all parliamentarians who were required to declare income had fulfilled this obligation.
