The State Duma Committee proposed to publish declarations of deputies and senators online without personal data

Personal data of State Duma deputies and senators will not be published in income declarations. Such an amendment to the second reading of the bill on declarations of regional and municipal deputies was proposed to be adopted by the State Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation.

“Personal data will not be posted on the Internet, only generalized statistical information about the submission by deputies of relevant information and their implementation of anti-corruption legislation. It is proposed to extend such a norm also to State Duma deputies and senators, ”said the head of the committee, Pavel Krasheninnikov, following the Duma meeting (quote from site State Duma).

According to the bill, municipal and regional deputies exercising their powers on a non-permanent basis must submit their declarations only after being elected, and also if during the reporting year the deputy made major transactions that exceed the total income of him and his wife (spouse). Now a similar reporting regime is in place for deputies of rural settlements.
