At the site of the expert council of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, they discussed a bill on the implementation of the main directions of tax and monetary policy, a representative of the committee told Vedomosti.
During the event, the leaders of Opora Rossii, RSPP and other business associations, as well as industry experts, voiced their proposals.
“We see that a number of RSPP proposals are ready not just to be discussed, but we hope to take into account in the part that concerns anti-crisis measures. It is very important for us that we have gathered today in a face-to-face format at such an effective platform,” said Maria Glukhova, Executive Vice President of the RSPP.
Opora Rossii President Alexander Kalinin called the committee’s leadership the right approach to invite all leading business associations to discuss their positions.
The bill was introduced Government of Russia to the State Duma on May 31, 2023, on June 20, the committee of the lower house of parliament on budget and taxes recommended that it be adopted in the first reading. His hearing is scheduled for July 12.
The document involves amendments to the Tax Code and other legislative acts of Russia. As noted in the explanatory note, it was prepared in order to implement certain provisions of the main directions of the budget, tax and customs tariff policy of Russia, as well as in order to fulfill certain government instructions regarding tax administration, VAT, personal income tax, international taxation, special tax regimes and others
