Poland will ask NATO to respond to the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus

Warsaw is going to raise the topic of Russia’s deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus at the NATO summit in Vilnius. Polish President Andrzej Duda spoke about this.
The politician also expressed concern about the departure of PMC Wagner to Belarus and promised that “we will definitely raise this topic at the NATO summit and will call on our allies so that the alliance quickly makes decisions in connection with these threats.”
According to Duda, these events will have a fundamental impact on the situation in the field of regional security.
The Polish authorities expressed their readiness to accept on their territory the nuclear weapons of the Western powers possessing such arsenals. Senator Andrei Klimov expressed the opinion that, hiding behind the presence of warheads in Belarus, the Poles want to oust Germany from the main role in NATO in Europe. That is why they need to deploy American nuclear weapons on their territory. According to the Russian parliamentarian, Poland wants to the role of an outpost of the North Atlantic Alliance.
