The head of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy, Yaroslav Nilov, proposed a new measure to the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Valery Falkov, which, according to the parliamentarian, will help increase the birth rate in the country. Against the backdrop of sounds from government officials calls for Russian women to start having children the deputy suggested working with young people in universities as early as possible.

To Nilov’s letter addressed to Falkov paid attention telegram channel “Bloody Lady”. In his address, the deputy writes that female students may refuse to have children because it will interfere with their studies. Nilov believes that kindergartens and nurseries at universities will help solve the problem, where female students could send their children and go to classes.

Nilov suggests that Falkov consider the proposal to open kindergartens at accredited universities. The deputy believes that this will help young parents and will encourage them to give birth without interrupting their studies.
