The LDPR proposed reducing the working day by 1 hour per week for mothers of two or more children. As reported in the faction’s telegram channel, the corresponding bill has already been sent to the government.
The initiators of the innovation propose to establish this standard for mothers of two or more children under 18 years of age. In this case, the salary, as noted, should be paid in the same amount as for a full working week.
“Every time women take time off (from work), they experience stress,” explained LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky. “This affects both the quality of work and relationships with colleagues.” Approving an additional hour for mothers with two or more children, in his opinion, will make their lives more convenient. After all, mothers have a lot of things to do that often need to be resolved during the working day: for example, taking the child to the doctor, attending morning classes, etc. “Raising a child is a very big and responsible job,” Slutsky emphasized.
