The State Duma awarded the winners of the All-Russian Conference “Young Technicians and Inventors”

The ceremony was held by the State Duma and the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators.

The solemn ceremony of awarding the finalists of the IX All-Russian Conference “Young Technicians and Inventors” took place in the Hall of Columns. Diplomas were also awarded to teachers as part of the Mentor of the Year competition, which has been held since 2014 among teachers of additional scientific and technical education.

The All-Russian Conference “Young Technicians and Inventors” has been held within the walls of the State Duma for the ninth time since 2014 and annually gathers more than four best inventive and scientific and technical projects of schoolchildren on its site. The preparation and holding of the final of the conference takes place as part of the annual scheduled work of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education and the State Duma Committee on Education with the support of the Industry and Trade Committee and the Committee on Property, Land and Property Relations.

The conference presented the work of schoolchildren in such key nominations in the field of economics and the social sphere as human health and medicine, industrial technologies and engineering solutions, alternative energy, transport of the future, information technology and education, social innovations and volunteer projects, and ecology.

The head of state noted that the innovative proposals of the youth are very necessary for the country in order for it to develop and move forward. In turn, Kononov added: “We will definitely follow the instructions of our president.”

The world will change for the better, including thanks to your work,” the deputy added.

The works of the children, which they demonstrate in their youth, are surprising, Olga Kazakova, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, emphasized in her speech. She also added that the conference participants could become leaders in the scientific direction of the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth.

“A direction that will become a magnet for the guys. You will attract them to you and teach them something,” says Kazakova.

Olga Kazakova noted that without the union of parents, mentors and those people who support and admire young inventors, there will be no major inventions.

“Looking at you, we know that we are not afraid of anything, that we have you – those people who are already inventing today, and tomorrow you will definitely bring our industry, engineering, medicine to the first positions. The whole world will look up to our country, and you are making a great contribution to this,” the head of the Duma committee stated.
