The State Duma approved the right of mobilized to hold the same position as a matter of priority

The State Duma on Tuesday supported the amendment on the preferential right of mobilized Russians to receive their previously held positions.
The mobilized person will also have the right to occupy another, vacant position corresponding to his qualifications, if his employment contract is terminated due to its expiration within 3 months after the end of military service for mobilization.
If there are no such positions at the enterprise, the mobilized person may preferentially take a “vacant lower position” or get a lower-paid job, if such work is not contraindicated for him for health reasons.
This amendment was introduced for the second reading of the bill on the travel of shift workers to and from the place of work at the expense of employers, which was previously proposed by the government.
