The sums insured themselves will be increased by 1.5 times or more, depending on the type of dangerous object. The sum insured for the liability of hydraulic structures will increase from 6.5 to 9.75 billion rubles, for mines – from 100 to 250 million rubles, for gas stations – from 10 to 20 million rubles.
“The current amounts of payments have not changed since the introduction of compulsory civil liability insurance for owners of hazardous facilities (OSOPO) in 2012,” the press service of the Central Bank noted.
