State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev sent appeals to Rospotrebnadzor, Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a proposal to ban the sale of alcoholic ice cream on the Internet. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the document.
The parliamentarian called on departments to pay attention to the illegal trafficking of alcoholic beverages in the form of ice cream on the Internet, and also to take preventive measures.
Khamzaev noted that such products circumvent all existing bans on the sale of alcohol. The strength of ice cream corresponds to the degrees found in beer or alcoholic cocktails.
The deputy is concerned that there are dozens of websites on the Internet where even minors can order alcoholic ice cream.
