The star of “Baywatch,” actress Nicole Eggert blames herself for succumbing to persuasion and artificially enlarging her breasts during the filming of the cult series. She is convinced that because of the implants she missed the onset of her cancer. The actress stated this in an interview with Inside Edition.
At the end of February, a 51-year-old woman was diagnosed with lymph node cancer. A few weeks earlier, doctors told Eggert that stage 2 breast cancer had been detected. The artist says that she is tormented by a rather rare type of oncology – invasive cribriform carcinoma.
Eggert admitted that she decided to enlarge her breasts at the age of 19, just during the filming of “Baywatch.” She recalls wearing a red swimsuit as Summer Quinn, which initially made her look flat, and feeling dissatisfied with her appearance. Then she decided to get implants. “If I didn’t have them, and I had my small, natural breasts, I’m sure I would have felt the development of oncology much earlier,” said the actress.
She first felt severe pain in the left side of her chest last fall. But initially she couldn’t even get medical help, since appointments with specialists were scheduled months in advance. Egger admitted that it was a terrible period because she could literally physically feel the tumor growing.
Only the efforts of friend Mindy Molinari allowed Eggert to raise 38 thousand dollars and not only get an appointment, but also remove a malignant tumor. She said that she would like to help women like herself, victims of cancer, who are not so lucky with money and friends.
