Rustam Solntsev spoke in support of the artists who left Russia and criticized those who remained for being afraid

A former participant in the Russian TV show that made Olga Buzova, Kseniy Sobchak and Borodina media stars, Alena Vodonaeva found herself at the center of a political scandal. Accustomed to shocking the public with his appearance and statements, Rustam Solntsev this time not only spoke about celebrity gossip, but touched on the topic of politics. The revelations were made in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon (included in the register of foreign agents of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, in the register of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring, put on the wanted list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation).

“I look at Boris, I look at Max, and I think: Lord, at least on one side something sticks to these people,” Solntsev said, speaking about the foreign agent artists who left Russia. “Brilliant, beautiful, perky, fashionable.”

Philip Kirkorov, according to Solntsev, also “could have done all this,” but “again this fear, and here there are tours for 10 months in advance, he has already counted his money.” Further, Solntsev told the rumors that had reached him about the artist’s personal life, which he allegedly leads when he flies to the USA. From Solntsev’s words it follows that Kirkorov’s actions may be perceived as contrary to the new Russian legislation on the topic of LGBT (recall that the Supreme Court recognized the “LGBT movement” as an extremist organization and banned its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation). Solntsev also said that the Russian singer may allegedly have very bad habits, which his friends allegedly complain to him about.

“It’s not all because of a good life, it’s because he’s unhappy,” Solntsev said, “it was necessary to do the very least: forget about what was happening and take this step.”

The former TV star’s revelations outraged patriotic Russians and a number of media outlets. For example, the regional publication Bloknot, which since the beginning of the SVO has been compiling a list of famous people who criticize the Russian authorities or the special operation, stated that Solntsev “officially swore allegiance to Gordon” because “finances became very tight, and he decided to work off the Western agenda for donations.” . On its social networks, the publication invited readers to vote on whether Solntsev should now be recognized as a foreign agent.

Kirkorov did not comment on the statements made about his personal life and civic position.
