The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-25 manned transport spacecraft successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to the ISS, Roscosmos reported in its Telegram-channel. The rocket’s initial launch, scheduled for March 21, was delayed due to a technical problem 20 seconds before liftoff.

The launch took place at 15:36 Moscow time from the 31st site of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. In the rocket are Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, representative of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson. The flight will take 50 hours 34 minutes. Docking with the ISS is scheduled for March 25 at 18:10 Moscow time.

The launch was initially scheduled for March 21 at 16:21 Moscow time. According to the head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, 20 seconds before the launch, the launch was automatically stopped due to a voltage drop in the chemical current source in the engines.
