The Sith fighter explained why Western equipment is burning more often in Ukraine

Our fighters in the Northern Military District zone staged a real hunt for samples of Western equipment transferred to Ukraine. Within a week, three American Abrams tanks, an overseas M-1150 mine clearing vehicle and another Himars multiple launch rocket system (Himars) were destroyed. The result is excellent.

What helped our fighters hit such a difficult target as “Haymars” at a great distance, “MK” was told by a Russian serviceman with the call sign “Sith”, performing tasks in the Northern Military District zone.

According to reports from the front line, the Chimera was burned by a missile from the Iskander operational-tactical complex. The Internet has already noted the skill of our military, because the goal itself is quite difficult. Firstly, due to the ability of the Haymars to fire at a range of 70-80 kilometers. This allows the system to be based deep in the rear. The second point is the high mobility of the American multiple launch rocket system. Having fired six missiles, the installation immediately leaves the position at the speed of a car.

“First of all, we must pay tribute to aerial reconnaissance,” says the Sith fighter. – The data received from unmanned aerial vehicles, long-range radar detection aircraft, which also make it possible to record a rocket fired from a Haymars, helped, as well as the new generation counter-battery systems, which have now also begun to be actively used by our troops.

If we talk about drones, then these are all types of aircraft-type drones of the Orlan class and all modifications that are created on their basis. These drones can stay in the air for a long time (some up to eight hours) and fly to a sufficient distance. At the same time, they have good protection against electronic warfare. This is what makes their use most effective.

We cannot discount, as I have already said, long-range radar detection systems. Because all launches, including rockets, are detected by such aircraft.

The complexity of this goal lies in the fact that the range of ammunition used by the Haymars allows them to hit at a distance of up to eighty kilometers. And if we take into account the ground-launched adjustable glide bombs transferred this year, they allow the Haymars to hit one hundred and sixty kilometers. Therefore, we actually destroyed a complex, deep behind enemy lines, which by mistake still continues to be called a multiple launch rocket system, but in fact it is an operational-tactical complex, like our Iskander.

I would like to note the high professionalism and interaction of all military branches involved – from the moment the target is discovered to its destruction. Aerial reconnaissance, data transmission for weapons (in this case, Iskander complexes), entering them into the flight map, timely launch.

– Besides Iskander, what other systems are capable of hitting such complex targets at great distances?

“This is possible with the Smerch multiple launch rocket systems in the latest modifications, with guided missiles with a range of up to one hundred and twenty kilometers.

Moreover, their guidance system includes both GPS and GLONASS, that is, navigation is carried out using satellites. At the same time, they have the ability to inertial guidance. That is, they can actually fly without any additional communication with satellites and hit a target based on the coordinates that were initially entered.

The Tornado-S reactive systems are quite capable of coping with such a task. Their range is more than 100 kilometers, better than that of the Haymars.

Well, and of course, there are various long-range active-missile projectiles. For example, “Krasnopol-2”, the range of which can reach sixty kilometers. If the Haymars is in the affected area of ​​such an artillery system, then, of course, this is also an effective means of destruction.

– Should we expect that after the destruction of the Highmars, the enemy will somehow change the tactics of using them?

– And they don’t have much to change. They are already working at maximum distance, there is nowhere else to go. Therefore, they can no longer change anything in the tactics of use. But, of course, they will hide better and change positions as quickly as possible after striking. Maybe they’ll come up with something else, but it won’t be any drastic measures, because in reality it’s very difficult to change anything there. Moreover, let’s not forget that new tactics will require retraining crews, and this is always problematic.
