The share of Russians who are ready to receive a salary in digital rubles is disclosed

More than half of Russians from 83% of citizens receiving wages on the card are not ready to receive it in digital rubles. According to a study by hh.ru, prepared on request “Newspapers.Ru”compared to last year’s figures, their share increased by 20%.
The results of the study show that only 15% of respondents are ready to fully receive a salary in digital rubles, although a year earlier their number was 29%. At the same time, the share of those who agree to receive no more than half of their salary in digital rubles has not changed much and amounted to 5% against 6% in 2022.
Among the main reasons for the reluctance to receive a salary in digital rubles, respondents identified a lack of understanding of how to pay with them, distrust of new technologies, fear of encountering scammers, and preference for cash. It is noted that the survey was conducted among 1.5 thousand Russian citizens over 18 in September, and its results were compared with last year’s data.
