26% of relocants returned to Russia and are trying to find a job. About this publication “Gazeta.Ru” said Natalya Danina, an expert on the labor market of one of the job search services. Experts made this conclusion based on the results of analyzing the resumes of applicants who went abroad and then returned to Russia.

“At the same time, the average return rate for the top 10 countries prioritized for relocation is even higher – 28%,” she said.

Danina said that 80% of service applicants in 2022 preferred to go to Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Belarus, Thailand and Azerbaijan.

According to the expert, several factors could have influenced the increase in the number of people returning this summer. She includes among them the deterioration of the economic situation of relocants who continue to work for Russian organizations due to the depreciation of the ruble, as well as restrictions on cross-border transactions.

“Secondly, verbal interventions from the authorities about the absence of plans for the next wave of partial mobilization and its actual absence in September and October,” the expert clarified.

Danina also said that the third reason was the established record low unemployment in the country, the increase in proposed salaries against the backdrop of a shortage of personnel. This, according to her, is a signal for successful employment in Russia.

Among other reasons, she cited the expiration of standard periods of stay in countries, difficulties in obtaining residence permits or documents to continue working, and increasing demands from employer companies to return to Russia for all categories of employees, with the exception of IT specialists.

Previously write Yuri Polyakov warned of the danger from relocants returning to Russia. According to him, this is fraught with conflicts between them and veterans of the special military operation in Ukraine.
