The anti-monarchy group “Republic” made its way to Buckingham Palace and staged a protest there “under the nose” of the royal family. This is reported by the British publication Daily Mail.
Activists as tourists made their way into the palace just after noon. Afterwards, they stood in the Great Hall wearing T-shirts with the words “Not My King” on them.
Speaking on behalf of the “Republic,” Graham Smith emphasized that such an action was held for the first time within the walls of Buckingham Palace, when citizens do not agree with the hereditary government and rise in protest at the house of the monarchy.
