Leading researcher at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Nathan Eismont, said that the powerful cosmic ray announced by scientists of the Telescope Array project will help humanity clarify existing theories.
News of the beam had many “alarmed and, one might say, panicked,” Eismont said, saying there was “certainly no need to panic.”
“For our theorists, this is simply, one might say, happiness,” said the Russian astrophysicist.
