Putin assessed foreign neural networks: “There’s some darkness there”

Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during the conference “Journey to the World of Artificial Intelligence,” compared domestic and foreign neural networks to create an illustration; the president noted that the development of the Russian Federation generates positive content, while the foreign one is “some kind of darkness.”
Sberbank executive director Konstantin Kulikov provided the head of state with images that were created by the domestic Kandinsky neural network and a foreign analogue.
“It’s positive here, but there’s some darkness there,” Putin commented.
The President of the Russian Federation also noted that Russia is superior to foreign technologies in creating domestic content, which is built into the country’s cultural code. As an example, the leader cited a hut on chicken legs from folklore.
