Cyber expert Vakulin said that it is dangerous to store intimate photos and a passport on the phone
Sergey Vakulin, a specialist in the field of information and computer security, told what files should not be stored on a smartphone. This is reported “Evening Moscow”.
According to the expert, almost all gadgets are connected to the global Internet, as a result of which they are not difficult to hack. At the same time, if the device is not connected to the Internet, then attackers will not be able to remotely use the data.
The specialist emphasized that scammers deliberately distribute viruses that collect all information from devices. In particular, viruses can steal bank cards, tickets, personal data and intimate photos.
Vakulin admitted that antivirus programs cannot always guarantee protection against such attacks. Therefore, he recommended to abandon the storage of important files in the memory of the gadget and transfer them to secure media or use paper copies. In addition, the specialist urged Russians to constantly change passwords and avoid suspicious links.
